ILSI Europe coordinates a Network of Excellence (NoE) funded by the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Programme.
Its main objective is to align nutrient recommendations across Europe and 
it is named EURRECA, short for EURopean micronutrient
RECommendations Aligned.
The initiative and the funds needed to elaborate a proposal came from the ILSI Europe Nutrient Requirements Task Force.
